Off-road parking can be found at the rear of the property, before unloading your bags in the hallway and storing away any boots and coats. After a long day of walking, look forward to curling up in the lounge, offering a sumptuous corner sofa and woodburning stove for your comfort, along with a Smart TV so you can stay updated with your favourite shows. Rustle up a feast in the kitchen, amply equipped with all the essentials for a short break, including an electric range cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and even a washing machine, so you won’t have to pack your whole wardrobe! As you while away the hours, venture upstairs to the bedrooms, offering a king-size, double and twin, each neutrally presented and perfect for catching your rest. After a restful night, meet your guests out in the rear patio where you can enjoy a morning coffee and discuss the plans for the day. When you’re ready to explore, head into the town of Penrith where you will find the fascinating ruins of the once remarkable 14th century Penrith Castle, home to the future King Richard III, unravel history at the Penrith and Eden Museum, or venture to the Mayburgh Henge, with the historical sites of Eden Millennium Monument and the site of King Arthur’s Round Table closeby, before refuelling at a local restaurant or gastropub.
