Location Details
The beautiful lively town of Bideford offers a mediaeval bridge, town quay, tiny pannier market, and busy shopping centre, all of which are well worth a visit. The South West coast route passes close by on its way into Cornwall, and numerous major surfing beaches, golf courses, amusement parks, and other attractions are nearby for the more active. Clovelly, a picturesque cliff-top fishing village, is about half an hour away by car, while Exmoor and Dartmoor can be reached in under an hour.
Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
Reviews
This spacious holiday house, was well equipped with good quality utensils and equipment. The beds were very comfortable and everything worked.Even in a very wet and windy December, it was warm, dry and snug. The location is good for exploring North Devon and only five miles from Westward Ho. The roads nearby are single track and passing other cars can be problematic, although there are passing spaces at regular intervals. We brought our dogs and they were able to run on the beach in December. Heaven.
