The perfect retreat for a couple wanting to explore this stunning part of southern England, the lodge rests near the welcoming towns of Basildon and Reading, whilst enjoying the seclusion of the unspoilt countryside setting. When arriving at the property, you will be greeted by handy off-road parking, before passing through the rustic arch to find the delightful abode. Wander inside to the open-plan living space, a room that is home to all you need during a self-catering break, while enjoying rustic and original touches throughout. Make your way over to the sofa to unwind with a glass of wine in hand whilst you catch up on your rural escapades with your loved one. After lounging in the sitting area, head to the well-equipped kitchenette, where a good selection of appliances, along with utensils await. When dinner has been whipped up, bring your dishes over to the contemporary dining table, where you can enjoy a lovely meal for two. As day turns to night, continue through the lodge to the well-presented king-size double bedroom, the space features a sliding door that takes you into a stylish en-suite shower room, where a refreshing rinse can be enjoyed in the large shower. In the morning, a delicious cup of coffee can be savoured in the sunny yard, as you soak in the tranquil surroundings. Visitors will also be pleased to find a golf club, eateries and a handful of shops.
