Boasting a fantastic location next to the owner’s 18th-century farmhouse which has an adjoining four-acres with farm animals, as well as spectacular views over the stunning Port Isaac Bay and easy access to Cornwall’s best beaches, Campion Lodge is an idyllic setting for a group or family of six looking to escape to the coast. Be welcomed into the open-plan living space, sure to be the social hub of the home during your stay, where you will find a well-equipped kitchen for rustling up flavourful meals for your guests, with the help of the electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher for a fuss-free clean up! Once dinner is served, gather around the dining table for six as you savour a delicious meal and make plans for the days ahead. If the weather is nice, why not continue the evening out on the private patio where you can enjoy evening drinks as the little one’s play? Take advantage of the additional shared one-acre field where you can explore or play lawn games with your family. On the grounds you will also find a handy laundry room which houses a coin-operated washing machine and tumble dryer, ideal for keeping your holiday wardrobe fresh! As the evening cools, retreat to the plush sofa in the sitting room where you can snuggle up and select your favourite film from the TV with Freeview and DVD player. Prepare for a restful night with an indulgent soak in the bath or refreshing rinse under the overhead shower, before choosing from one of three well-presented rooms, a double, a twin and a bunk, ensuring flexible sleeping arrangements for all parties. Awake from a leisurely slumber and kick-start your day with a steaming cup of coffee, followed by embarking on one of the scenic footpaths available right on your doorstep. Located in a steep-sided valley, the old village in the valley has remained virtually unchanged since its heyday as a fishing, slate exporting, and smuggling centre in the previous century. Small character properties, as well as larger cliff-top retreats, can be found in the village and are conveniently located near the village's numerous restaurants and shops. A plethora of rock pools are exposed as the tide recedes in the sandy harbour.
