Location Details
Resting within the district of Stratford-on-Avon is the civil parish of Tysoe. This civil parish is made up of three settlements which includes, Upper Tysoe, Middle Tysoe and Lower Tysoe. Within the pretty village you will find a village Post Office, a shop, a pub and a small number of businesses. There is also a beautiful parish church of St Mary which dates back the 11th century and a number of properties which date back to the 17th century. The parish lies on the edge of the Cotswolds, where you will find breath-taking landscapes and a number of lively market towns and historic trials. A little further away is the medieval market town of Stratford-upon-Avon, where you will find further quality amenities and attractions including Shakespeare's Birthplace, Anne Hathaway's Cottage and the tropical greenhouse of butterflies. Tysoe is a pretty base for exploring this part of Warwickshire.
Visitors to the Cotswolds have long treasured memories of charming towns and villages built from the famous honey-coloured stone, it now boasts a thriving community of contemporary artists working from studios and shops throughout the area.

Upon arriving to Holly first impressions weren't good,the whole of the cottage hadn't been cleaned from bedding to dishes left in dish washer,after a six hour drive it's not what you expect to find. After ringing housekeeping office ,two lovely ladies arrive at 18.45 at to clean the cottage ,they left at 20.00 and did there best . We were told that if we went for a meal we would be refunded for the price of the meal. I have never had to write a negative review but after emailing sykes cottages a few times after being told they would be intouch and am still waiting . I hope the owner of the cottage will be able to put things right and make sure that this doesn't happen again and make sure that the cottage is up to standard when guesses arrive. On the plus side the bedrooms were large and beds were comfortable,kitchen was nice and had everything you need. The sitting room needs some tlc.
