Location Details

Between Greetwell and Heighington, there's a delightful little village called Washingborough. The 18th-century Washingborough Hall, a well-stocked convenience shop, and a lovely village green outside the picturesque St. John's Church are just a few of the attractions in the community. Lincoln Cathedral, the Museum of Lincolnshire Life, Carholme Golf Club, Boultham Mere Nature Reserve, Lincolnshire Road Transport Museum, and the New Theatre Royal are all within a short drive of the settlement. In addition to the Birdcage and Cosy Club, there's also The Bowl Full. Newark-on-Trent, with its Newark Castle and Gardens, Newark Air Museum, Newark Showground, and Newark Golf Centre, is a little further out.

From rolling countryside to historic cathedral cities and traditional seaside resorts, Lincolnshire offers a peaceful alternative to the discerning holidaymaker.
