We waited for 2 hrs from the check in time of 3pm for the owner (who it turned out lived next door) to finally let us into the property at 5pm with no apology, just an excuse that his phone battery was flat." The cloakroom facilities had no water supply, he said he would fix this the following day - he didn’t, and we were without the use of them for the duration of our stay. Such a shame as the actual cottage was lovely, although it lacked a few essentials in the kitchen, such as a bread knife and a feeezer compartment in the fridge! We would not book again, and would advise people to steer clear.
