Off-road parking for 1 small car, further roadside parking at the bottom of the lane, 20 yards away. Rear garden with furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 0.5 miles, pub 0.2 miles. Note: Parking is accessed via a tight turn, please take care. Please note that guests must provide their own fuel and fire lighting equipment for fire.
Location Details
Hope, a charming Peak District community, is located in the Hope Valley, and next to several excellent hiking trails. The community is nestled in the rolling hills of the Peak District National Park and features a general store, a few pubs that offer food, and a train station. Guests at Hope have the option of an action-packed getaway, complete with caving, climbing, and scenic hikes just outside their door, or a peaceful retreat in this picturesque corner of the Peak District. Castleton's Winnats Pass, a popular route for walkers, cyclists, and vehicles alike, winds through spectacular countryside just a few miles distant. Three miles away are the charming villages of Edale (the beginning of the Pennine Way), Castleton, and Hathersage with their seasonal outdoor swimming pool; horseback riding and the magnificent Castleton Caves are all within this distance.
