The living areas in the property consist of an open-plan living area with a kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, dining seating for six and a sitting area with TV and sofa bed. The bedrooms consist of a double with en-suite and a twin bedroom, along with a shower room. Outside, there is an enclosed decking with a hot tub, along with parking for two cars. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Sorry, no smoking and no pets allowed. Within 2.5 miles there is a shop and within 0.8 miles, a pub. 8 High Hesket is a delightsome dwelling for an escape to the countryside.

Location Details
Armathwaite, a charming, unspoilt rural community, is ideally located for exploring the Lake District, Eden Valley, and the stunning Solway Firth shoreline. Two old pubs, both with popular restaurants providing good food, a local Post Office, and a traditional village shop are all located in the village. The Eden River runs through the settlement, and the area is known for good salmon fishing, as well as walking, canoeing, and climbing. Armathwaite Castle is a four-story Pele Tower on the river, and the 15th Century Church has beautiful stained glass windows. Between Lazonby and Armathwaite, the Eden Gorge is one of Cumbria's best-kept secrets, and it's well worth visiting.
