There is a double bedroom upstairs and a ground-floor shower room on the ground floor. Outside, there is off-road parking and an enclosed rear courtyard with furniture. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rental price. One well-behaved medium sized dog is welcome, however, this property does not permit smoking. For your local convenience, there is a shop within 2.5 mile and a pub within 0.2 miles. A romantic retreat to the countryside awaits at The Cheese Room. Note: Check-in from 4pm, check-out by 10am. Note: There are four stone steps leading up to the front door.

Settled amongst the countryside of Warwickshire rests this charming market town of Shipston-on-Stour. Home to a wealth of local amenities, including shops, pubs and restaurants, along with a network of riverside walks and cycle trails, Shipston-on-Stour is a lovely base for a staycation. The famed town of Stratford-upon-Avon is easily accessible, home to the Shakespeare Royal Theatre and Ann Hatahway's Cottage, whilst Royal Leamington Spa rests slightly further afield.
Visitors to the Cotswolds have long treasured memories of charming towns and villages built from the famous honey-coloured stone, it now boasts a thriving community of contemporary artists working from studios and shops throughout the area.

Impressed as soon as we opened door, really tastefully decorated. Everything so new. A very good welcome hamper was on lounge table along with fresh cut flowers, in the kitchen fridge a bottle of local milk along with cheeseboard and crackers. There was even a bowl of fresh fruit. Lots of nice welcoming touches. Kitchen well equipped for us, no oven but the micro is a combi oven. There is a small outside sitting space at side of house but clever how owners have utilised this to make this another part of the character of the Cheese Room. Upstairs bedroom good layout, well decorated, bed nice and comfortable. Was perfect for the 2 of us. Lucy was really friendly and gave us lots of advice on where to go in surrounding areas plus the best dog walks around village. Stretton well placed for touring local area, everywhere is within a short drive and at night you have the peace and quiet of the village. Will stay here again.
