Location Details
A charming seaside village with a seven-mile stretch of sandy beach that was once famous for car racing and speed record attempts. The fateful car 'Babs,' whose driver was killed in one of the many speed record attempts, was buried in the sands for many years before being dug up, restored, and displayed in the local museum for all to admire. Even the famous Amy Johnson took off on one of her many record flights from these perfect flat sands. These historic sands are ideal for sunbathing, swimming, and kite flying all year round.
