I wanted a few days peace, with just me and my dog for his 1st birthday. It was heaven, warm, clean, safe, secure Friendly staff at the pub where we checked in and also had food. . . Literally almost right on the beach. It is a first floor apartment, comfortable bed, amazing powerful shower nice little kitchen with TV... and no WiFi or phone signal- meant quality time and nice to disconnect from the world. The views were amazing, the sound of the sea and the waves when you fall asleep... the beach is pebbley, but their is a sandy one about 30mins walk towards the Tyne.
