Location Details
Fethard-on-Sea is a village in the south-west of County Wexford, nestled to the east of the Hook Peninsula. Fethard-on-Sea has a colourful past, which includes the 1914 lifeboat disaster and the Fethard-on-Sea Boycott, which has been immortalised in paper and on film. Fethard, now a tranquil fishing and tourist community, is a perfect base for exploring sandy beaches, shops, and taverns. The old lighthouse and a plethora of beaches continue to draw people to the Hook Peninsula.
