Ocean Watch 5, Greenhill

We have spent 5 holidays here at the apartment and have just completed the 5th. The view from the lounge/diner is breathtaking and it has everything needed for a lovely holiday. Downpoints: the stairs up into the apartment are a bit steep if you're slightly infirm plus there are steep steps from the front parking area. Unloading backwards and forwards from the car on arrival is a little exhausting! Also, we had to contact Dream Cottages a couple of times because the fridge/freezer broke down and had to be replaced, the kitchen knives were mostly old and blunt and also there was no mirror in the small bedroom ( this is still to be resolved). Another point: why there is such a complicated oven in a holiday let is beyond me; I downloaded instructions on our first year here and we bring them each time! The washer dryer is rather ancient! The bedroom at the front gets full sunlight from 4.30 am in high summer and the curtains are thin so really could do with a blackout blind. Good points are many: comfortable beds, location with the beach just across the road, good secure parking. Bus stop across the road with 3 buses an hour. Watch green bowls, tennis, ships, yachting from Portland and all water activities from the front window!
