Llechryd is a small village located in Cardigan Bay, West Wales, three miles from the city of Cardigan. This picturesque village sits high above the Teifi River and is home to a variety of businesses, including restaurants, cafes, a bakery, and a takeout joint that serves fish & chips. Cardigan is a bustling market town on the coast of West Wales, complete with a wide variety of shops (including both independent boutiques and larger brand stores), as well as tea rooms, taverns, restaurants, and a magnificently crumbling castle. Cardigan is surrounded by scenic landscape, and the rocky Pembrokeshire coast is within easy driving distance. Cardigan Island is home to a farm park, beautiful Blue Flag beaches, and boat trips where you can look for dolphins and seals. Several of Pembrokeshire's major cities, including Fishguard, Haverfordwest, and Narberth, are within half an hour's drive of Newcastle Emlyn. Llechryd serves as a wonderful home base from which to discover the surrounding area of Wales.
