Location Details

A small village on the Isle of Anglesey, Llannerch-y-Medd is a great place to immerse yourself in Welsh culture, with more than 60 percent of the locals speaking Welsh, there's no better time to learn a new language and put your skills to the test, just be thankful you're not in the area of Llanfairpwllgwyngogerychwyrndrobhwllllantysiliogogogoch. The village's disused Anglesey Central Railway makes it a great destination for train buffs, and the old buildings in the area now house a cafe and tea rooms where visitors can relax while admiring the surrounding landscapes of Wales. For a quiet getaway near some of Wales' most popular attractions, consider staying in this charming area. When it comes to birdwatching, there are few places better than LLyn Alaw Reservoir. The Pili Palas Nature World in Anglesey is a great place for kids to get up close and personal with the animals, and the Anglesey Sea Zoo has more than 150 species of marine life to see. The National Trust castle of Penrhyn, the Presaddfed Burial Chamber, and the picturesque mountain of Snowdonia are just a few of the must-see attractions in Anglesy and the surrounding areas of Wales. Llannerch-y-Medd and the surrounding areas have something to offer everyone, from a relaxing getaway among friendly locals to convenient access to nearby tourist hotspots.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Reviews

Lovely quiet location, surrounded by fields. Very comfy super king bed, lovely bathroom and shower, everything we needed was available. Clean and tidy. Handy enclosed garden and safe area to exercise the dog. Central location to explore the island. Local shops and asda 10 min drive. An ideal location for us. Owners were available close by but not intrusive.

We have just spent a lovely few nights at the Dairy. It provided wonderful cosy homely base from which to explore. Clean, comfortable, spacious, well equipped and genuinely dog friendly. Lots of lovely walks and beaches within a short drive away. Will definitely be back.
