The Devon settlement of Sheepwash is located in the serene Torridge Valley. A shop and a welcoming traditional tavern offering delicious meals and locally made ales are available in the village. With its prime location in Ruby Trail Country and convenient access to the Tarka Trail and the seashore, Sheepwash is perfect for those who enjoy walking and the great outdoors. Take a stroll along the River Torridge, where you might see a family of otters and a few kingfishers. The coastal villages of Bude, Clovelly, Bideford, and Westward Ho!, where you can enjoy typical beach activities, surfing, and the South West coastal walk, are just a few of the interesting locations nearby. A good variety of tourist attractions, perfect for families or couples, like the Big Sheep at Bideford, Trethorne Leisure Farm at Launceston, the Miniature Pony Centre at Moretonhampstead, the Eden Project, and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are all within driving distance.
