Reviews

This is a delightful cottage in a fabulous location. It wasn't presented perfectly, there were various bits and pieces left lying about in the utility room and the fencing and rails in the back garden were broken. The opportunity to get straight onto the beach is fantastic. It is well fitted out and comfortable. All round, it was fine. It is however ruined by the neighbours, the Grove family next door, who run a caravan park/enclosure which is a cross between Checkpoint Charlie and Stalag Luft 111 who impose ludicrous restrictions and blatant intimidation regarding access and parking . They are intimidating and bullies. Their own caravan park reviews tell you all you need to know and they are a septic blight on the otherwise beautiful village of Port Eynon. This cottage is not for the disabled, access is frankly lethal in bad weather and particularly in the dark, which is a shame because once you get to it you are in paradise. The access road may well find the underside of your car. ouch. Ideally it's a great place if you are a walker or a cyclist travelling light, in which case it will be the most welcoming place in the world as long as you don't fall foul of the neighbours.....
