The living areas in this property consist of a kitchen equipped with range cooker with oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, a dining area for twenty and a sitting room with Smart TV and sofa bed, there is also a cinema room. The bedrooms consist of two second-floor super-king-sizes, two king-sizes with sofa beds, double, two second-floor doubles and a child bunk, serviced by a shower room on each floor. Outside there is a rear, enclosed patio with hot tub, outdoor play area, and private parking for three cars. Within 0.2 miles there is a shop, 0.1 miles a pub and 0.4 miles a beach. Two well-behaved dogs welcome, but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. The Bookcase is a wonderful setting for a family getaway to the coast. Note: Each sofa bed sleeps an additional two guests.

We arrived to find the property had not been cleaned. All rooms filthy. By the time the owner got a cleaning team in we had lost 4 hours of the start of our holiday. We had to feed the younger children in the local pub and this spoiled the planned family meal. The top floor bathroom light wasn’t working, reported to the owner with a promise to get a handyman out. No one came to fix it. The hot tub which was a selling point for the younger ones in our party has major issues. The 1st floor bathroom external pipe work leaks into the hot tub much to the dismay of my son who was in there at the time. When the hot tub came up to temperature it stunk. We found hot tub cleaning chemicals but they were out of date and the directions said do not use. The owner has been very difficult to communicate with. Ignoring calls and messages. Good luck if you are planning to stay there.
