Minsterley is a bustling village in the picturesque Shropshire Hills, just 10 miles from Shrewsbury, the mediaeval town. Minsterley has a bar, which is one of the village's oldest structures, as well as a shop, Post Office, and a fantastic fish and chip business! One mile away, the community of Pontesbury has additional amenities such as takeaways and restaurants, as well as Arscott Golf Club, Springlea Fishing Pools, and the Pontesbury cycle/footpath. The Long Mynd, which is close by, is a paradise for walkers and wildlife watchers, as well as a convenient area to relax and take in the beautiful surroundings. Shrewsbury sits on a loop of the River Severn and is one of England's most beautiful heritage towns, with over 600 listed structures. Admire the charming cobblestone alleyways and squares, and take part in one of the many festivals, such as Shrewsbury's Summer Season.
