Location Details
West Thirston is a charming village in rural Northumberland, between Morpeth and Alnwick. One mile from Alnwick's famous Garden featuring Europe's largest cascading water feature, an enormous tree house, a rose garden, and an ornamental walled garden. The castle is also the setting for the "Harry Potter" films' Hogwarts School! Miles of golden sandy beaches, numerous castles, and boat trips to the famous Farne Islands are all available nearby. Overall, a great base for exploring Northumberland's Heritage Coastline.
