(Not fully enclosed but tethers are supplied for dogs.) Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 0.4 miles. Parking for one vehicle & no commercial vehicles. Second vehicle can be parked on the road.
Location Details
Located in the King's Lynn and West Norfolk area, Dersingham is one of the area's major settlements. The Royal Sandringham Estate, which includes the spectacular home, church, and grounds, is just a short drive away, as is Norfolk Lavender, England's premier lavender farm, with its plant farm, tea rooms, and gift store. Dersingham has a Post Office, two supermarkets, a butcher's shop, newsagents, and a few takeaway restaurants that serve the community. With its attractive golden brown homes known as "gingerbread houses" due to the colour of the local iron-rich carr stone used in their construction, the mediaeval Norfolk village of Snettisham is close. There are RSPB reserves at Snettisham and Titchwell, and the North Norfolk Coast, including Hunstanton, which is a family-friendly coastal town. Attractions in North Norfolk are within easy reach from this location.

Wow what can I say! May bell cottage was truly amazing, wonderful location in a beautiful area. Great cottage which is tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend this cottage for anyone. We booked it for a birthday celebration and it was just perfect. The welcome pack was greatly received! Thank you to Ann and Richard.
We had an amazing stay at Maybell cottage. Richard and Ann have thought of everything; there are some really nice touches and thoughts throughout this beautifully decorated home, which itself dates back to the 1600s. The area is a great place to see all that the North Norfolk coast has to offer. We particularly loved Old Hunstanton beach and Wells next the sea but there are loads of places we’d still like to see. Richard and Ann gave some great suggestions of places to eat, drink and visit. 100% recommend this place and the area.
We found Maybell cottage to be the perfect base for our Norfolk break. With Sandringham literally a few minutes drive down the road and Snettisham dear park also very close by along with Hunstanton beach 10 minutes away it is the ideal location for us and our 5 year old daughter. May bell cottage was welcoming, comfortable and full of Norfolk charm with plenty of space and fully equipped rooms. The decor, furnishings, finishing touches and attention to detail was exceptional. We especially liked the hare wallpaper! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will be back again soon. Check out Eric’s fish and chips in Thornham then maybe an icecream or coffee over at Mims Gelato. Also the Rose and Crown In nearby Snettisham, all with great playgrounds to keep the kids entertained. 10 out of 10 for our stay. Thankyou so much
