On the banks of the River Teme, which crosses the Welsh/English border, is the delightful market town of Knighton, which is tucked away in a beautiful rural setting. Offa's Dyke really runs through the village where the Offa's Dyke Information Centre is located, making it a well-known destination for walking, riding, and cycling. The town's centre is traversed by Owain Glyndwr's Way, and Radnor Forest and the 84-mile Radnor Ring Cycling Route are both nearby. Visit the beautiful Powis Castle with its renowned gardens, the stunning Elan Valley reservoirs, and the charming towns of Presteigne, Leominster, and mediaeval Ludlow with its renowned castle from the 13th century, historic structures, and superb restaurants. The Victorian spa town of Llandrindod Wells and Hay-on-Wye, known as the "Town of Books," with its renowned annual literary festival, are both easily accessible by car. a great starting point for visiting the stunning counties of Herefordshire, Shropshire, and mid Wales.

Definitely five stars. We have just spent two lovely weeks at the Orchard. We had a really lovely stay. The property itself was really spacious, everything you could possibly need was provided. The beds were really comfortable, plenty of storage provided. The most wonderful thing about the orchard is the total peace and quiet. Surrounded by quiet lanes and just sheep really. There was a lovely outside area to sit, spectacular views across the blossom filled orchard and beyond. Tesco just a 20 minute drive away. We had home delivery on the first night. The grounds were enclosed and perfect for our pup who absolutely loved it. The housekeeper was very helpful when we spoke to her. We would definitely go back in fact we can honestly say we didn't want to leave.
