Across the lake, the castle and pier in Beaumaris make for a pleasant day trip, or you may take a boat to Puffin Island. Anglesey has numerous magnificent beaches, including Rhosneigr, Trearddur Bay, and Red Wharf Bay, which are all accessible through the Anglesey Coastal Path.
