This peaceful community, made up of a few Lakeland cottages, has a flourishing and well-liked neighbourhood tavern that serves good meals and real ales. The thriving towns of Windermere and Ambleside, which offer a variety of services like stores, pubs, and cafes, are nearby. Children will appreciate the Beatrix Potter World in neighbouring Bowness, where technology brings her characters to life.
