Location Details

Pembrokeshire's Llanfyrnach is a small settlement situated halfway between Crymych and Trelech. The village, which is isolated and situated along the River Taf, is the perfect starting point for a rural getaway because it includes a few shops, a farm shop, and a typical bar. The Welsh Wildlife Centre, St. Dogmaels Abbey, Cardigan Castle, and Poppit Sands Beach are just a short drive from the shore, while heading south will take you to the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and its plethora of scenic locales.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Reviews

Its difficult to know where to start effusing about this property! The photos dont do it justice- as good as they are. Clearly this was a home built for the owners themselves- because it exceeds what you would expect to see in a rental and simply oozes class and quality throughout. Everything- from the orginal wall art, to the furnishings to the linen on the bed etc- its all truly wonderful! To find a bungalow with THREE double bedrooms is unusual in itself- and in each one the mattress was glorious memory foam supported mattresses (an important issue for me with my spinal problems) We actually got to speak with the owner on the telephone (my own idiocy regarding the key entry)and she was delightful to speak to- and very understanding. We had a good laugh and it was a nice start for us. And so we entered the property..first 3 seconds impact? Beautiful aroma. It smelled so fresh and clean. Indeed the cleanness of the bungalow throughout was a tribute to the cleaner and I made a point of telling the owner this. The kitchen. Wow. What can I say! Amazing...didnt want to leave it behind. Clearly bespoke and very expensive it was full of modern tricks..cupboards floor level lighting, rising power unit etc. And omg how well equipped it was! Literally everything you need to cover whatever cooking you wished to do. To sit at the dining table in there looking out of the glass patio doors at that incredible view was incredible. In fact, good time to mention that view..it really IS panoramic!! You can see for miles and miles of beautiful unbroken countryside and farmland. One of the best views we have had on our many travels at cottages. Be prepared for narrow country lane driving however! The bathroom is so very modern..what a touch to have Bluetooth connectivity to the mirror light so that you can play music in there whilst attending your ablutions! I will be honest at this point though and say that if the place lacked anything at all, then it would be another toilet as the bathroom holds the only one. Just 2 of you would be fine- but 4 of us was a little more difficult- and for 6 would certainly need some organisation. The lounge was so comfy, nice tv and lighting..perfect. From a location point of view we personally adore the idea of being a bit secluded and then travelling into the towns, cities, beaches etc. This certainly met that ideal. So be prepared to travel out all the time if you want to go out to dine etc. Sadly we didnt get to use the Butchers Arms just up the road- (we didnt find time as we were too busy cooking in that stunning kitchen lol!)-but I dont think it does food and looks like a local farmers pub for drinking only. I wont even go into the delights of whats on offer and what we enjoyed around wonderful Pembrokeshire, you probably been before and already know right? And if you havent..omg you are in for a treat! All round a perfect holiday in a perfect property in the perfect area! What more can you wish for. We will be back Im sure.
