Note: There are 16 steps up to the apartment, which is split between the first and second floors. The flat is next to a railway station, so there can be some noise there. A beautifully serene small village that is tucked away in the valley of the Rover Fowey amidst the locality's characteristic meadows and woodlands. The town is well-known for being a hub for the antiques trade, and it is home to a number of stores and dealers, as well as a superb selection of country pubs, restaurants, and a bustling farmer's market. The magnificent Boconnoc House, Eden Project, shipwreck museum, tall ships harbour, scenic fishing communities of Mevagissey, Fowey, and Padstow, as well as the renowned Rick Stein restaurants, are all within easy driving distance of Lanhydrock House (NT) and Gardens, which is only 3 miles away. You can enjoy river canoeing, riding, hiking, and leisurely walks in this delightful area in addition to the crashing Atlantic surf, long sandy beaches, and stunning coastline of the north coast, especially at the renowned Newquay.

We had a lovely stay at the Bluebell Retreat. The apartment is clean, spacious, well equipped, comfortable, and located close to Lostwithiel station and the town. Everything is finished to a tasteful, high end finish and we couldn’t have been any more impressed. We’ll be back.
