Pleasantly located on the southern bank of the River Ystwyth, this quaint little village is home to a friendly tavern, a shop that, despite its size, has a wide variety of goods made right here in Wales, and a nearby nine-hole golf course. There are many lovely walks and bike rides to be had in the surrounding countryside of Llanilar, which can be accessible quickly and simply from the centre of the hamlet. Go back in time on the Vale of Rheidol Railway's narrow-gauge track and take in the breathtaking surroundings at a more relaxed pace.
