Location Details
Located halfway between York and Helmsley, the small rural village of Stillington is very attractive. There are many top-notch pubs, an Indian restaurant, a fish and chip shop, a hair salon, a sports and social club, and an antiques showroom in the village. From the settlement, a network of footpaths and bridleways leads to the stunning Howardian Hills scenery. Also easily accessible from Stillington are the magnificent Georgian town of Easingwold, Thirsk, Ripon, Harrogate, York, Malton, and Helmsley. Nearby attractions include the breath-taking North York Moors, Rievaulx and Fountains Abbeys, and Castle Howard. The theme park Flamingo Land and the seaside resort of Scarborough are farther apart. a year-round perfect foundation.
