Corton is a small fishing town on the coast between the larger cities of Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, and Lowestoft, Suffolk. Since the neighbouring towns and countryside have so many activities and sights to see, Corton village is a favourite vacation spot for families. A pier theatre, sandy beach with a funfair, arcades, sealife centre, shopping centre with traditional market, museums, and the Great Yarmouth Racecourse make for a classic seaside vacation for the whole family. Lowestoft is the more tranquil of the two towns, yet it still has the Blue Flag sandy beach and close proximity to Africa Alive and Pleasurewood Hills. In addition to its proximity to the charming nearby Norfolk Broads, the city of Norwich is home to a castle, cathedral, museums, contemporary shopping centres, and a daily market.
