Single-storey accommodation. Two bedrooms: 1 x king-size with en-suite bath, shower over, basin, heated towel rail and WC, 1 x king-size with TV and en-suite walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail, and WC. Spacious hall with cloakroom providing WC and hand basin. The spacious open-plan kitchen, dining area and lounge has a vaulted ceiling with chandelier, a woodburning stove and is tastefully and individually furnished

Gas-fired underfloor central heating throughout. The kitchen is well equipped with electric double oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer-dryer, dishwasher and Tassimo coffee machine. Smart TV with power amplifier, TV, WiFi, Blu-ray/ DVD player, digital radio. Fuel, power, and starter pack for woodburning stove inc. in rent (more wood can be purchased from on-site shop). Bed linen and towels are included in the rental with towelling bath robes and slippers in the master bedroom plus additional towels for use in the Swandown pool area. Adjacent off-road parking for two vehicles. The private south facing garden has fabulous views and provides table, chairs and parasol plus two loungers and a barbecue. Communal indoor swimming pool. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 3.6 miles Pub 0.2 miles. The Swandown site has an indoor heated swimming pool for the exclusive use of guests staying at the lodges - the pool can be booked for private use by individual lodges 48 hours in advance and the booking rota is located in reception. Swandown guests also have membership access to the leisure facilities at The Cricket St Thomas Warner Hotel (approximately 1 mile).The hotel & leisure facilities are exclusively for adults.Guests can access their large swimming pool, spa, sauna, steam room and gymnasium (opening times 8am-6pm).Guests are also able to eat in the hotel bar at lunchtime, which is cashless (card payments only).Spa treatments are available at an extra charge and need to be booked directly with the hotel. The garden area is not enclosed

Chard is a delightful market town and parish resting between the Blackdown Hills AONB and the town of Crewkerne. Within easy reach of the town is the Dorset AONB, where you can enjoy walks through Stonebarrow and Milldown Nature Reserve, as well as exploring the famed Cerne Giant.
