Off-road parking for 2 cars. Shared lawns. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 1.8 miles, pub 0.8 miles, beach 2.2 miles. Please note towels are not included.

Budle Bay is a fantastic location with great coastline and nature reserve. We've stayed many times. The property however is in dirty condition and is poorly equipped. The lack of response by the owner and Sykes in addressing the issues was very disappointing, The photos are inaccurate. The suite and rug in the living room have been changed and need a deep clean. The bathroom has no bath. The wood burner has a broken liner and no grate with only a layer of sand for fireproofing. The smoke alarm is incorrectly and ineffectively positioned. There's a lack of basic cleaning materials - to which the owner responded by watering the small drop of washing up liquid they had provided. Kitchen bins had crusty dried food in them and no liners. The bed frames revealed ingrained dirt and hair when we stripped the beds at the end of our stay. It wasn't cheap in early December 2023 and there are many better alternatives out there. Avoid.

We had a wonderful week at the cottage, will lovely long walks with dogs around Bulde Bay. Bamburgh Castle is worth a visit. Our 1 1/2 hour Grey Seal Cruise with Serenity Farne Islands Boat Tours was absolutely amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful on and off the boat.
