Location Details
Barnstaple is at a great location in the Exmoor National Park at the mouth of the Taw Estuary on the stunning North Devon coastline between Westward Ho! and Croyde. In addition to two fantastic sandy beaches that are well-liked by children and surfers, Barnstaple is a bustling historic coastal town in Devon with a pannier market, shops, restaurants, and bars. The town is well known for its floral displays and has won a Britain in Bloom award; you may see flowers across the town, even in the most unexpected places. The picturesque Tarka line railway excursion, which passes through the breath-taking North Devon landscape of wooded river valleys, steep moorland, and a section of coastline, ends in Barnstaple.
