Location Details
Sheringham began as a little fishing community on the coast of North Norfolk, but after the railroads arrived there in 1887, it flourished and developed into a well-liked holiday destination. Sheringham has received accolades from Britain in Bloom, Anglia in Bloom, and Best Coastal Resort in addition to 10 consecutive European Blue Flags for the cleanliness of its beach. Enjoy strolling along the East or West promenades, which have a beach with a silver-pebbled shoreline leading to golden beaches with rock pools and streams adjacent to ochre cliffs, local fishing boats, and an RLNI lifeboat station with museum, as well as sea vistas with blue skies and red sunsets.
