The living areas in this single-storey, barn coversion consists of an open-plan living space with kitchen equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge with ice-box, dining table for four and a sitting area with sofa and TV. The bedrooms consist of a king-size and a twin serviced by a shower room. Outside there is parking for one car, enclosed patio with table and chairs and access to a small, dog walking paddock. Within 0.8 miles there is a shop and 0.7 miles a pub. One well-behaved small or medium dog welcome, but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Axminster is a small market town in the English counties of Devon and Dorset, just a few miles inland from the Jurassic Coast and within driving distance of the quaint seaside towns of Lyme Regis, Charmouth, Seaton, and Beer. Axminster has been known as the "carpet capital of the world" for over 250 years. The town is home to the Axe Valley Wildlife Park, the Axminster Heritage Centre, and the Flamingo swimming pool, among other tourist attractions. Those interested in food and drink can visit the town's many locally owned stores, pubs, and weekly market, or hop in the car for a quick trip to the nearby River Cottage HQ, Lyme Bay Winery, or Millers Farm Shop. Axminster is a must-see due to its stunning scenery, wonderful walks, and proximity to the National Trust properties of Shute Barton and Loughwood Meeting House.
