Location Details
While less well-known than Margate, Ramsgate, and Broadstairs, Westgate-on-Sea nonetheless provides all that is anticipated of a beach town in this region of the Kent coast. Two sandy beaches, including one with a Blue Flag for good coastline walks, open green areas for entertainment, a theatre in the Westgate Pavillion, numerous stores, and restaurants are all present in the town. You can take a bus to Canterbury and explore the Cathedral, walk along the coast to Margate and explore the Turner Art Centre and the intriguing curio shops in the Old Town, and more thanks to the area's excellent public transportation options, which include a railway station and frequent buses that run along the coast.
