I cannot recommend The Annex highly enough. We received a warm welcome from Jo (and Salty!). A comfy and well equipped cottage with everything you could need. Also a few sweet treats and a pretty posy of flowers on the table. I mentioned we hoped to spend an evening around the fire pit and some chairs were put out for us. Unfortunately Storm Kathleen put a stop to any outside plans. An approachable and knowledgeable host, Jo recommended places to go and where to find excellent pecan pie - thank you! I had mentioned it was my birthday whilst we were there and in the morning we found some excellent homemade biscuits waiting for us. The Annexe is well placed for days out, Petworth is particularly good, both the house and the deer park. We were sad to leave and would stay again if we were in the area. Thank you Jo.
