Location Details

The most beautiful sunrises may be seen in Beaumaris, a well-known ancient town on the Isle of Anglesey that is situated on the Menai Strait and overlooks the Snowdonia mountain range. It is also well-known as a significant hub for sailing, with its Edward I-era mediaeval castle (now a World Heritage site) and Victorian pier, jail, and courthouse. With a long history, Beaumaris still has a lot of its original mediaeval street layout. The town's environment, diversity of architectural styles and eras, variable scale, open spaces, different roofing, and overall quality all play a significant role in the character of the community. In addition to a golf course close by, the town offers a good assortment of stores, eateries, and bars, as well as options for boat trips and fishing. Red Wharf Bay, also known as Traeth Coch (Red Beach), is a sizable bay along the coast that is well-known for its spectacular sunsets. Due to the bay's extreme shallowness, approximately 25 square kilometres (10 square miles) of sand are exposed at low tide, making it safe for swimming, excellent for family outings, fishing, and miles of breathtakingly beautiful hikes. The port of Holyhead, farther away, has frequent ferry connections to Dublin. Beaumaris is a great starting point for seeing Wales because of its ideal location on the south coast of the charming Isle of Anglesey and proximity to the magnificent Snowdonia mountains.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Reviews

We had the Long Cottage and the Long House for a family holiday and were really pleased with both. Six adults, four children and two dogs were able to spread out in the spacious accommodation and the lovely gardens meant they all had enough room to relax. The owners had clearly thought about what is needed for a good holiday and provided it. They also responded really quickly to anything we asked about and went above and beyond to look after us.
