The charming 14th-century inn and the 19th-century church, which was constructed on the site of an earlier chapel, are both found in the little hamlet of Torver, which is peacefully situated amidst some of the most breathtaking scenery in the Lake District. You have a lot of wonderful meal options in Torver thanks to the two excellent pubs that are available. It is well-known locally as a starting place for exploring the neighbouring fells and the Duddon Valley, as well as a fantastic base for exploring the nearby towns of Hawkshead, Ambleside, and Windermere. It was one of Wordsworth's favourite hangouts. Locally, Coniston Old Man, Wetherlam, and the magnificent woodland paths at Grizedale Forest offer excellent walking, mountain biking, climbing, and watersports options.
