Brandeers Long Barn consists of an open-plan living space with kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, kettle and toaster, a dining area with seating for four guests, a sitting area with TV and first-floor games room with sofa bed, pool table, TV and Xbox. The bedrooms consist of a ground-floor double with en-suite shower room, and a double with balcony and furniture, serviced by a bathroom. Outside there is a private rear lawn with furniture and access to tennis courts, and parking is available. Natural swimming pond for wild water swimming, directly fed by water from a deep well, This is shared between the three properties. Within 1.8 miles you will find a shop and within 2.6 miles, a pub and please note that this is a non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. A highchair and stairgate are also available. Brandeers Long Barn is a wonderful escape for a couple in Wiltshire. Note: There are numerous ponds surrounding the property, please ensure children are supervised. Note: Entrance to the first floor is via a concrete staircase, please take care and use the handrail provided. Note: Check-in 3pm, check-out at 11am.

We knew the studio was small and quirky but that’s what appealed. However we didn’t expect it to be so dirty. Cobwebs, dirty dishes in the oven, recycling bin mouldy and bottles still in it. Worktops and hob dirty with food stains. The studio was cold and Peter had put in heaters but the bed was damp and hadn’t been used for a while. There was no heating in the bathroom and putting heat on elsewhere caused condensation from the toilet system. Water was literally running on to the floor which had to be mopped up by towels as no mop was provided. Dirty water was then trod through the studio. It felt neglected & very tired. The studio was advertised for 2 adults & up to 2 kids but there was only 2 chairs at the table. Outside conditions were bad. The studio door leaked and water poured in under it. Scaffolding and tin sheets and old pieces of wood etc from work Peter was doing to a nearby hut. Students wouldnt live in this muck.
