Location Details
When travelling through County Cork, to the southwest of Durrus and towards the tip of the Sheep's Head Peninsula, you will come across the lively and energetic community of Kilcrohane. The Church of St. Crohan, established in the eighth century, is where the settlement derives its name. Those who want to stay on land can enjoy the Sheep's Head Way and travel some of its 60 miles of paths. The remarkable crystal-clear seas off the coast of Kilcrohane are a terrific spot to swim and explore all of the secret caves sprinkled about.
