Location Details

Ideally situated just over five miles away from Kingsbridge and 11 miles from Dartmouth is the delightful village of Chillington. The village is steeped in rich history dating back to the Saxon era and has an excellent range of amenities for its visitors, including a charming village hall, a playfield ideal for games in the summer months, a modern health centre and a pottery. The beautiful architecture of the Grade II listed Church of St James is one to be admired on your travels. Just a mere few moments away is Slapton Sands, a tourist favourite, with its picturesque cottages overlooking the shores and sandy beaches that run for miles, this brilliant beach is also dog-friendly too. Attracting many walkers for its excellent scenery, walkers can enjoy a variety of routes, including one which begins in Chillington and ventures through Torcross and Stokenham. For a delicious treat, a short drive will take you to the idyllic village of Frogmore, home to the well-known @The Bakery, an artisan bakery serving array of baked goods that will make your mouth water.
