Location Details
This traditional Welsh village lies in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park, and is surrounded by the Rhinog, Moelwyn and Arenig mountains. The impressive Trawsfynydd Lake, which is only a short walk from the village, is renowned for its fishing and offers a recently completed walking and cycling route around the entire lake. The village itself boasts a small variety of shops. This area is a mecca for outdoor activities including excellent water sports, climbing, walking, fishing, golf and mountain biking. The beautiful beaches at Black Rock Sands, Harlech and Barmouth are close by, as are the bustling towns of Dolgellau and Porthmadog. Visit castles, narrow gauge railways, slate and copper mines and the famous Portmeirion Italianate Village.
Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Lovely cottage in a small friendly village between Dolgellau and Porthmadog. Easy access to Snowdonia in the north and Cadair Idris in the south. The cottage is very clean with a homely feel. The new owners have replaced the cutlery, crockery and bedding. Garden at the rear with a table and chairs to enjoy a cup of tea in the morning. Good Wi-Fi and a smart TV. Washing machine in the utility room is very useful. We have been here many times and will keep coming back. We never run out of things to do with many local walks and cycling trails.
