Please be careful booking the Annexe Eckington, we had booked from 29/03/24 for 3 nights. However upon arrival we found the description to be highly misleading. description stated open fire with microwave, dishwasher, hob and oven. there was no microwave or Dishwaser, the hob was only 2 ring, the fire had been removed leaving an empty fireplace. items for cooking = a single Pan & 3 burnt or scorched frying pans. The tea or coffee mug were badly stained and needed cleaning. I made a call to the owner who said the fire was removed due previous guests breaking it and as for the missing items they had never been there and was shocked at the description being so wrong. As for the single pan she did say if I was to buy more she would reimburse. Fortunately for us Sykes Cottages stepped in and found us alternative accommodation within an hour of us contacting them and it was only 15 miles away.
