In the surrounding towns and villages there are several traditional music and family festivals throughout the calendar year. Burtonport and its surrounding areas are ideal for lovers of fishing; try sea fishing in Burtonport, catch a charter boat out to sea and try your hand at deep sea fishing, or make the most of one of the 130 lakes or rivers this area has to offer.
