Just returned from a little weekend break at Parc Cottage. We arrived on the Friday evening and stayed until the Sunday. My wife booked it and she couldn’t speak highly enough of the owners who she spoke to after booking the cottage. On arrival there was essentials awaiting us on our arrival. Milk in the fridge, fresh eggs and lovely bottle of red wine. The cottage is fantastic little get away and if you want a quiet break this is the place to go. It is clean and tidy and the bedrooms have been renovated to a high standard. The hot tub is a lovely little extra and was used both days by ourselves and the kids even in the snow ( yes snow). We wasn’t expecting it and it caught us by complete surprise but we didn’t mind as all we wanted was a lazy chilled weekend and we couldn’t have asked for more. The owners were fantastic. Although the check out time is 10am the owners messaged to say don’t rush in checking out due to the snow and the fact we had kids. We will definitely be returning. Get the hot tub ready

Just got back from an amazing weekend at Parc Cottage! We visited for a friends 30th birthday as 6 adults, a toddler and a dog. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by the owners, they had stocked the kitchen with fresh eggs, bread, milk, tea, coffee, etc and even a bottle of fizz in the fridge to help kick start the celebrations! the cottage is perfect, well equipped and very spacious, with 2 log burning fires, a games room with a pool table, a lounge with sky tv & dvd, and a hot tub outside on the patio. Owners explained to us about the fires and hot tub, and told us if we need anything they just a knock on the door away. Late Saturday evening whilst we were there, we had a massive downpour of snow, with us due to check out Sunday morning we were informed by the owners that we could stay another night because of the condition of roads! The snow made the cottage and surrounding areas even more beautiful, think the local post office lady was glad of snow as we trekked to her shop and cleared her out of all but the kitchen sink. As the snow thawed and we left on Monday, we asked the owners what we owed for the extra night, we were told...... don’t worry it’s fine. Thank you so much for helping us out, very kind genuine, generous people, we look forward to visitIng again.

Lots of outside space for the family, especially for the children to play games and the living area inside, dining and lounge, enabled us to sit for our meals together and spend time together as a family in the evening. Having a games room with a pool table was also great fun for all!

The cottage is well equipped and ideal for a large family gathering. The setting was beautiful, surrounded by hills, forest and sheep pasture. There were plenty of walks in the area.

Stayed 26 -29 September for long weekend. Clean, well heated and comfortable accommodation in an idyllic setting. Be warned to bring adequate supplies as our party of 9 travelled back to Welshpool to stock up on the day of arrival, as local shops are sparse and a good ride away.. Other than that brilliant!!

Superb location, great for the kids, plenty of space for the children to play. Lovely location for the adults to relax. Great location to get to attractions in mid Wales; we loved everything about our stay at Parc Cottage.

Had a lovely time at Parc Cottage, the setting is very quite amongst the trees. The cottage has all the amenities for a great holiday, there was 8 plus an infant staying and a small dog. The rooms are clean and tidy, the family table is big enough for everyone to gather around. There are 2 wood burners and plenty of logs should you need them. The games room has a pool table for the odd night we stayed in. There is horse riding just around the corner from the cottage with some great forest treks. We had a day trip to Lake Vyrnwy where there is cycle hire or kayaking. Barmouth is around 1hour away, it's a lovely beach and full of typical seaside town shops. The owners where very helpful and available should you need them. The Wifi was a bit intermittent we had to go to different places to get a signal. My only down point is that dogs are only allowed in the kitchen and utility room. This was not stated in the brochure. I personally do agree with the not upstairs or on furniture rule, but our pet sits with us in his bed on a night in the living room. This should have been made clear before we arrived as it would have altered our decision to stay there.

Outstanding setting, the grounds were absolutely stunning and the owners were very friendly & helpful. I would highly recommended this property, we had an amazing time. We hired a narrow boat for the day In Llangollen, we loved every minute of it. We went to Barmouth, a very pretty seaside town and beautiful beach. You need a car to get around as the property is secluded. This is the best holiday we have had in this country and will be returning.

We found the cottage to be really spacious, plenty of room to sleep 9 people comfortably. The kitchen area is great, there is large table that was perfect for everyone to sit around. We had a great time playing pool in the games room! Bedrooms were lovely. The location is very tranquil and has beautiful surroundings. We went white water rafting in LLangollen which I would very highly recommend. We also went Quad biking which was great fun too! The owners were both extremely friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this cottage if you are looking to do some activities in the surrounding areas!

As a party of 9, we found the cottage to be very spacious. It was great to have such a large dining table and lounge area. The games room with pool table provided us with hours of fun too! We chose this cottage for its size but also for its brilliant location. Situated only a 5-10 minute drive from the beautiful Lake Vyrnwy, which is well worth a visit. We did white water rafting in Llangollen and quad biking in Middletown, I would highly recommend both those activities, in particular the rafting! The owners were extremely friendly and helpful, I would highly recommend staying at this cottage.

In total 10 of us (4 adult) spent a week in this lovely house near Eryri National Park but turned out there is a lot to see nearby as well. The location not difficult to find after receiving the owners precise itiner. The house nicely located just bellow the woods near to a small brooks. Planty of room indoor in case the weather does not allow all day activity outside, everyone loved the pool table! The kitchen-dining has enough room for 12 person easily at the same time. Two bathrooms, 4 separate bedrooms plus one attached. The landlord always available for any sort of help if needed. We all would like to go back!

Very friendly owners living next door. Wonderful farm, beautifully kept garden. Would have enough space to play inside as well and have a billiard room.
