We really needed a break to chill out as a family, this is definitely the place to come and do that. When you look out of the kitchen window the view is trees and fields, on arrival the owner showed my husband around, he couldn’t have been more helpful, asking us if we needed anything else. I’m in a wheelchair and he was extra concerned that I had everything I needed and went away and returned with a bath board to help showering easier for me, nothing was too much trouble for him. The kitchen is well equipped and on the day we didn’t go anywhere we cooked a meal with ease, we also had a cooked breakfast most mornings. It was so nice having the dishwasher, so no washing up to do! We also haven’t taken home much washing because we’ve washed our clothes as the week as gone along in the washer/dryer. Stokesley is about 4 miles away and it’s a lovely little village where we’ve eaten twice, we’ve also used Coopers Cottage as a base to explore North Yorkshire, including Scarborough, we would definitely return because even my grown up autistic daughter felt safe and secure, thank you for a wonderful stay.

Stayed for Easter weekend with kids and dog. Lovely area with some fab walks. About half an hour from Saltburn which has some lovely dog friendly pubs. Cottage is bigger than what I thought. Photos don't do it justice, as was spacious, spotlessly clean with really comfortable beds. Lots of fluffy towels ! Lovely log burner. Good facilities, cooked a roast no problem. Owner was really helpful. Would stay again :-)

This was our second stay at Cooper Cottage. The cottage is just lovely . Very comfortable and well equipped . The owners were very welcoming and genuinely wanted us to enjoy our experience in this wonderful place We stayed here recently with our two grandsons 8 & 5 for two weeks. They just loved it as we did. The location is great .So much around to see. We also took advantage of the lovey play area and games room, relaxing letting the boys play in a safe environment .Perfect for them and us. Relatives stayed in Pottowe cottage for a week .They also loved it too. The cottages are ideal for two families/ couples to get together for some quality time. I would recommend staying at either cottage .Once you do you will planning your next stay like ourselves .

A wonderful place to stay, it was so homely. The owners couldn't do enough to make sure we were comfortable, it was all the small details that made the difference. The cottage was ideally situated for exploring and was so relaxing. Within an hour of being there we were planning our summer stay and bringing our grandchildren.

What a lovely converted barn. The property is very well presented with all the luxuries you could want, the log burner is a particularly nice touch. I will be looking to book again in the near future.

Lovely accommodation and beautiful location, with a lot of amenities and places to go within easy reach. The reception by the owner was friendly and helpful. I'm sure that we'll be back as long as we can get the dates we need.

This cottage has been converted from out buildings and the quality of the furnishings was high and we had a very comfortable and warm stay on a blowy week in October. We had some lovely walks into Potto where there is a fabulous pub and we'd stay again. The kitchen area was fine for a few days but didn't have much work space and we didn't use the electric hob much. The bathroom was spacious and immaculate, likewise the two bedrooms. The cottage is fairly remote so you have to drive about 3 miles to get provisions. There are some toys in an outbuilding also used by people who have horses stabled at the farm, but they were a bit basic and some couldn't be used as bits were missing e.g. the air hockey table. There are electric charging stations for those with electric cars!

Absolutely loved the cottage and we are planning to book to come back again soon. The cottage was a real find, and it really helped to make the weekend very special. Everyone relaxed from the moment they walked into the cottage - it immediately has a lovely atmosphere. It couldn't really have been better.

We stayed here for 4 nights at cooper cottage, in a lovely setting not far from stoksley and north yorkshire moors. The cottage was immaculate can not fault it in any way, very comfortable and the owner very friendly . I would return to this cottage and may well go back next year, cosy and warm with the added bonus of a log burner which we used only one night as you didnt really need it with the central heating. very clean and there was lots of lovely walks nearby . has everything you need for a welcoming comfortable stay .

This was our second stay at Cooper Cottage. We were drawn back by the caring service we received last time and were impressed once more by the welcome we received and the standard of the facilities. There are so many lovely little details in presentation that raise the bar for holiday lets. Potto is a lovely rural setting yet handy for the a 172 which gives access to all sorts of places - from the North York moors to Middlesbrough (great for visiting student family members!)

We liked everything about the cottage, it was our granddaughters first holiday together with her Mum and Dad, we were most impressed with the cottage and spent an excellent weekend in comfort, the sound of birds and owls at night was beautiful. close to Dales Towns, so excellent base for touring with Whitby just a few miles drive away, will be planning to come again.

We came back for a second year thanks to the warm and helpful welcome and the wonderful high standard of the cottage. It was all fabulous again. I particularly liked the lovely thick towels tied up in parcels for us to use - a really nice touch.
