The location is superb and the wildlife is a joy to watch with deer, hares and hawks all visiting us during our stay. The owner is the most generous of hosts and he has become a valued friend. The Lodge is a peaceful oasis and yet is 5 minutes from the A11 from which all parts of Norfolk can be reached. Norwich is some 15 minutes away and is a fantastic place to visit for meals, entertainment or just sightseeing. Cannot recommend highly enough.

We were made very welcome by the owner Don who looked after us well. The Lodge is a cosy place to stay with everything you could want to feel comfortable and I would love to return,The only down-side was the shower. My husband is disabled and it wasn't easy to get in and out of .There was a seat but no grab rails which he needs.Apart from that and the weather (the week before had been sunny)we enjoyed the week.

The owner was a star, in this wonderful piece of heaven in Norfolk. We were made most welcome and felt that is was our home from home. The best holiday home we have had in years. A nice relaxing enjoyable location to see the wild life. Would definitely come again to the Lodge. We have already recommended this Lodge to our friends.

The location is Norfolk's hidden heaven, a tranquil, beautiful place to get lost in time. The owner is a wonderful caring person there if you needed anything from local knowledge to supporting you if a problem occurred i.e. our car had problem. We were made most welcome with the run of the grounds and never felt like we were intruding in anyway. The best holiday we have had and look forward to returning in the future.

The peace and quiet of the location and the owner was so attentive and just couldn't do enough for us. It was a perfect base from which to tour the area. The lodge was very spacious and the woodland setting was great with fallow deer just outside the window and hares boxing in the paddock facing the lodge, it was just great.

The owner was very approachable and friendly when I had any queries. The view from the cottage in the morning was lovely and in a lovely peaceful, tranquil setting. There was lots to do in the area, but it was especially near to Banham Zoo.
