Had a fantastic week here. Great facilities in a lovely location. Ideal as a base for visiting the area. Owners very helpful. Can't fault anything. Would most definitely stay here again in the future. Village nearby is handy for pubs etc and easily walkable!! Cragside national trust is nearby and a definite must do! A beautiful part of the UK

We have stayed in The Granary 3 times and we are never disappointed. The cottage is absolutely beautiful and so comfortable, with everything you could need. We loved the extras, wine, flowers and milk.... all really welcomed and appreciated on arrival. The location is brilliant for visiting local attractions and the coast.... Its setting is very peaceful and tranquil. The hosts are really helpful and welcoming. We will definitely return in the near future.....

The Granary is a characterful and beautiful property. It is excellently equipped and presented. The cottage was comfortable and has open views. This is one of the nicest places we have stayed.

The Granary provided excellent accommodation. Everything was spotlessly clean and just as one would wish to find it. Despite being in the country TV reception and Internet were very good. The location of the cottage was excellent for reaching the main tourist areas of Northumbria. We would highly recommended.

Without doubt the best appointed and furnished holiday rental we have stayed in over the years. It is in a quiet location with attractive surrounding gardens and lawns; the owners are to be congratulated on the high standards of this property.

The Granary was wonderfully equipped, very cosy and welcoming for our February half-term break. Also very well-located for exploring the beautiful coast and countryside. We had a lovely time!

A beautiful luxury cottage with everything you need & more to make it a home from home. It was clean, comfortable & warm. The rural location was brilliant & it is an excellent base for visiting Northumberland.

Stayed at The Granary with another couple and two busy toddlers. We loved the cottage which was beautifully furnished with everything we could have possibly needed! The cottage is in a lovely rural location but close to the coast and local attractions. The owners were very welcoming & helpful and our stay was very relaxing and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Quality Accommodation, situated near to all the areas we wanted to explore. Lots of thought and originality has gone into the design making, the accommodation altogether user friendly. Comfortable and finished to a high standard.

The property was perfect in every way, I would liked to have been able to stay longer that a week. The owners provided everything for a perfect holiday and The Granary at Longframlington was ideally situated for all the major visitor attractions. A quiet country location, a perfect retreat.

Granary cottage was very well equipped with high quality furniture and fittings. It was lovely having two bathrooms and we were delighted with the dressing gowns especially as the children had one too . The owner's touches were lovely. A short walk takes you to the village and the cottage is well placed for local attractions and the coast.

The cottage was superb in every way. It was beautifully furnished and was a pleasure to stay in, it was a home from home, with the added bonus of stunning countryside views and the morning visit from the chickens. The owners made us feel very welcome and the welcome pack of home made cake, wine and milk was so lovely to walk into after our long journey. The village has everything you need, an excellent grocers, butchers and newsagents. The local pubs are welcoming and it is close to all the tourist attractions. Alnwick is only 10 minutes away for the major supermarkets, petrol etc. Couldn't fault it in any way, cant wait to go back! Thank you.

We love the area as there is so much to do and to see. What really made our holiday so special was staying at The Granary. We have stayed in many self catering cottages over the years, I am so pleased to say that The Granary was just perfect. A lovely setting indeed and the accommodation was definitely 5 star. It was very tastefully furnished and lacked nothing. We will be back, hopefully with family.

One of the best I have stayed in. Very high spec in the cottage. Location for what I wanted was perfect. Lovely touches with the cake and wine.

We stayed for a week using it as the base for a circular walk the Inns Way. This was an impeccable place to stay. The standard is 5 star. The touches we greatly appreciated. A lovely bottle of wine with delicious carrot cake, along with some sweets. Every appliance and contents of the kitchen were high class. The furniture including the beds very comfortable. the location is perfect for all the area has to offer. this is one of the best place I have stayed at.

Set in a secluded rural position with extensive views over the Northumbrian countryside, extremely well equipped, tastefully and comfortably furnished it was a pleasure to return to after a hard day sightseeing. The wine and cake on arrival and the toiletries in the bathrooms were an unexpected but very much appreciated gesture; as was the welcome and information from the owner on our arrival. This cottage is within an hours drive of the main tourist attractions. We felt really at home here and none of us wanted to come home at the end of our stay. The friendly service in the village shops is worth a mention too along with the morning visit of the cockerel and his harem of hens!

The best holiday cottage we have ever been to. Set in a peaceful location with stunning views. Equipped to the highest standard and extremely comfortable. Well placed for visiting all the attractions in the area. The local shopkeepers were friendly and obliging. We did not want to come home and would certainly recommend this cottage.

The cottage was lovely, ideal for a family of 4. It is in a lovely setting close to a village with easy access to the A1 for sight seeing. The owners keep some animals which is always popular with the kids. Northumberland itself is well worth a visit with plenty to see and do, numerous castles and beautiful beaches.

We always choose to spend our holidays in the UK and always stay in luxury cottages. This was the nicest cottage we have ever stayed in, the owners had thought of every last detail.

The Granary is a cottage to fall in love with. From the moment you drive through the gates, to discovering and falling for this sumptuously appointed and spacious holiday home, to waving goodbye and wishing you didn't have to, I cannot rate it highly enough. For a couple or small family it is just superb and my fiance and I only wish we could have stayed there during the summer months to enjoy the patio etc fully. The bedrooms, kitchen and bathrooms particularly are as if brand new, simply stunning and near faultless, the 2 power showers excellent, although the shower cubicle base did fill up to the limit within about ten minutes for those who like me enjoy a longer shower! But the over bath shower next door was of the same type and did not suffer this minor problem. Great tiles, mirrors, lighting, heated towel rails, etc etc. Kitchen utility area and downstairs toilet beyond it are a real bonus and all so well presented you felt pampered. Fully equipped kitchen, only gripes were tin opener wasn't working and no egg cups, I defy you to find any others! The sunsets from the large kitchen cartwheel window were beautiful and provided some lovely snaps of my car. The plentiful books/crosswords/Dvds/CDs/games were a nice touch and added to our holiday, as did Hamish, the friendly doorstop dog! Comfy beds, although we found the 2 seater sofa of only average comfort, a bit slidey and needed a throw. Enjoyed the candles and woodburner and melting pleasantly even during the cold spell, plenty of wood and coal supplied for a week. Central heating superb although smoke alarm annoyingly activated whenever grilled anything. Lots of places to visit in all directions, Alnwick, Berwick, Morpeth, Rothbury, Coast, what more do you want? The owners were very cheerful and helpful although they were in process of moving out. We were greeted by the new owners who we also found friendly. Ah, the memories. Best holiday in years!!!

What a gem! Superbly located, this modern, spacious home could not fail to impress and cater for any couple or small family. Enjoyed watching the sunrise and sunsets from the ideal open plan kitchen diner across the garden and fields. The utility area and downstairs toilet were a bonus and two upstairs showers superb. Cosy fire and lots of books. Five star easily! Would highly recommend this gorgeous property!

We have stayed in some exceptional properties over the years but this one was outstanding. The quality of the towelling/bedding etc. exceptional and all the little extras such as good quality toiletries, lovely cakes on arrival, tea/coffe etc. and also the lovely welcome from the owner all made this lovely autumn break.

The Granary in Longframlington is an idyllic holiday home. Fixtures and fittings are extremely tasteful and of the highest quality throughout. Our hosts were charming, very welcoming and provided the most delicious home made cakes! A perfect location, really good bistro pubs locally, and restaurants within easy driving distance. Alnwick and The Gardens and Castle are within a 15 minute drive, the town also has a nice little theatre. The countryside, coast, castles and walks are breathtaking - what more can I say. I will definitely stay at The Granary again but for longer!

The Granary was a superb holiday home; all fixtures and fittings were of the highest quality. By far the best we have ever stayed in. Our hosts were charming. We could not have asked for better! The location was also wonderful in terms of access and scenery.

We were made extremely welcome on arrival: Cream scones, bottle of wine, flowers. The Granary was absolutely marvellous, it should have the maximum number of stars. Very convenient for driving to all the local attractions. We will definitely go again and recommend it to everyone. There was nothing at all lacking, everything had been thought out.

In renting some 20+ cottages over the past 10 years or so this was the very best we have stayed in, from all aspects. The owner should be nominated for your top award!

The condition of The Granary was exceptional. A good central location for National Trust properties and coast.
