Drybrook 1 mile. This semi-detached cottage is situated in the small village of Ruardean Hill, near Drybrook offering a warm and homely stay for guests of all ages. Perfect for families, couples or friends to enjoy any time of the year, this cottage is not to be missed. On the ground floor, you will find a cloakroom and a utility room for those extras you may need throughout your stay. The country-style kitchen boasts characterful units and has all of the necessary appliances you need to look forward to preparing your favourite meals before sitting down to enjoy at the dining area. French doors take you out onto the patio, so you can wander outside for some fresh air whenever you choose. On a quiet afternoon, the snug is perfect for reading a book and cosying up in front of the TV next to the stone fireplace. For more of this, the open plan living area is equally as delightful, hosting two arm chairs and a sofa so you can unwind in style. To the other side, a characterful dining room is overlooked by wooden beams and sets a pleasant scene for gathering with your loved ones in the evening. Come night time, there is a variety of rooms to suit your preference, including one kingsize boasting an en-suite, two doubles, one of these include a single bed, and a twin. With each room being decorated to a high standard with soft furnishings, you can wake up to the lovely layout each day that goes by. After a long afternoon, why not relax in the bath, or simply get ready in the luxury bathroom, which is also home to a shower. Ruardean Hill is the highest point in the Royal Forest of Dean and the nearby village of Drybrook is a great place for visiting 17th century market halls, majestic bridges, excellent shops, pubs and restaurants to suit all tastes. Stroll along the banks of the beautiful River Wye, take a river cruise or view the countryside from a hot air balloon. Visit the famous bluebells at Soudley in the spring, a short drive away or enjoy the autumn riot of colour in the Forest of Dean. The delights of Hereford and Cheltenham are also within an hour's drive. A memorable holiday with walks from the door and many places to go sightseeing.
